This Camtasia video on greeting is used to teach some of the basic greetings that we used every day. This video is made for class PP to teach the concepts of greetings through visual and auditory representation.

When and How to use?

The video on greetings can be used while giving information input on different types of greetings, since different types of greetings with audio can be explained clearly in the video. Teacher can pause the video and give instruction on how to go about activity and then assess worksheet from video which help them to save resources. Students today are technologically connected. So, this video can be used by the teachers in classroom to stimulates student interest and boost engagement. Instead of teaching them different types of greetings verbally, teacher can let students watch the video, ask them to listen to the audio carefully and ask them what was it all about.

Creation of materials

• I have collected information and pictures related to topic ‘greetings’.

• I have prepared PowerPoint presentation by organizing the information and given animation to each sentence and pictures.

• After making the PowerPoint, I did a screen record with the help of Camtasia app.

• Save the screen record of PowerPoint in one folder and it will automatically appear in Camtasia studio. • After that I did editing part like trimming, zoom in and out and transition.

• I saved the video from produce and share option.

Activity

Instructions:

After watching the video lesson on 'greetings', teacher will let students to match the correct answers individually. For this activity teacher will show worksheet from video and let them do this activity in their notebook. Students need to see the pictures of greetings in left column and need to match pictures to appropriate greeting. Provide 10 minutes to complete the activity.
