This video containing information on four types of transportation in Bhutan with sound. It is used to teach the concepts clearly through visual representation for class four students.
Creation of Materials
I have created a PowerPoint and Camtasia video as constructive tool to
teach the concept of ‘Types of
transportation in Bhutan’. Firstly I downloaded all the material needed for
it like picture, gif, instrumental beats and the sound of each transport from
the link respectively picture

of transportation - Bing.
Secondly I opened the PowerPoint presentation slide to work on. I made a
first slide as introductory introducing topic and level of the class. To
brainstorm the child I inserted the picture of four types of transportation in
Bhutan and added an animation to them. Animation is being adjusted with
previous and adjusted the time from animation pane.
Then I inserted the rectangle shape from insert menu
bar and placed in front of first introductory slide and applied the animation
on it. On the shape I inserted the text box so that I can write about the first
transportation of Bhutan and I drag and drop the gif of horse. For them I
applied the animation with previous and adjusted the time. For the other
transportation I did the same step as mentioned above.
Lastly I add a thank you slide and started to insert
the sound for each of the transportation and applied animation and adjusted the
animation on animation pane so that it can make a sound in time of show. The
background sound is inserted and volume is being made in low so that the sound
inserted in PowerPoint is not missed. lastly I recorded the screen using Camtasia studio 8 and created the video.
How
to use in teaching and learning?
We can use this simulation video while teaching the students about the transportation in Bhutan. Instead of making them read the text, we can let students watch the simulation video, ask them to listen to the audio carefully and ask them what was it all about. After that we can make them list down the transportation of Bhutan. In that way, students can clearly understand the concept about the transportation of Bhutan. We can also make them discuss about the activity questions after they finish watching the simulation video. Let them write the answer for the provided question in the video.
